Virtue for the day and what it looks like:
| |
Fortitude.
It is the strength to carry on and do what must be done.
Detachment.
The ability to step away from things I cannot control or situations I cannot effect in that instant.
What is on the calendar for the day?
| |
Meet with Jim Finch 10am to see about openings for conner and some personal business questions.
Meeting with Christina at 11:30pm
Meeting with Mike and Jason at 12:30pm
What tasks will you do today?
| |
Mostly meetings, outside of meetings there is not much time to do anything else.
Would like to help Conner work with Jim for a job.
Outside Boundless, I have to fix the Balloon rally's ssl problem, schedule a date with Jim Finch for moving a website, call the OBI and schedule a meeting, message Margarete about the radio ad, schedule the business outline for the next year, help out Lenny on his zoom, and work at salamanca.
At salamanca I have to finish my abuse training, schedule future sessions, and plan out what I should do about the teacher's certificate.
What will you learn today?
| |
Time management.
I skill I always thought I had, but I think I am more of a chaos god; able to wind through the torrent of life making split second decisions that somehow keep me from drowning and calling it surfing.
How will you honor your spirit today?
| |
I will detach from family matters that have been dragging me down.
I will understand that it is no longer my fight to have, I have done my part, extended my olive branch and it was shoved down my proverbial throat.
Virtues acknowledgements for others today:
| |
I wish I could, but my headspace is not so… positive.
Im glad I have steve around because he embodies empathy which is my saving grace.
